SUMMARY: The Witness twice observed a military aircraft bomb civilian targets in the city. The Witness also endured detention, interrogations, searches of his personal belongings, and threats of execution at gunpoint. When the Witness evacuated from the city, soldiers of the internationally unrecognized “Donetsk People’s Republic” beat and interrogated him at a checkpoint.

Six men aged from 20 to 30, none of which had insignia on their uniforms. Some of them were armed and had their faces covered.
