SUMMARY: The Witness was detained on March 15, 2022, and held at a detention center in Kherson under occupation by the Russian military. He was kept in a torture chamber and interrogated until his release on April 1, 2022. Russian forces attempted to detain the Witness again two weeks later, but let him go upon recognizing him.
WITNESSES
The Witness of the incident was a male civilian who worked as an entrepreneur and volunteer. The Witness was also an ATO veteran.
VICTIMS
In addition to the Witness mentioned above, the other Victims were residents of Kherson, one of whom was a Spanish citizen, the other a theater director.

The perpetrators were unidentified representatives of the Russian military police and the Russian military prosecutor’s office. They all wore tactical uniforms and balaclavas.
