SUMMARY: The Witness was abducted by Russian forces from her home on August 17, 2022, and held prisoner for six days at the Kakhovka district police station. She was interrogated and pressured to provide names of fellow teachers with pro-Ukrainian views as well as surrender school equipment to Russian forces.

The Witness of the incident was a female civilian and resident of Nova Kakhovka who worked as director of one of the Nova Kakhovka Lyceums.

The Victims of the incident included the Witness mentioned above, the directors of other Nova Kakhovka Lyceums, and territorial community leaders of the Kakhovka district.

The perpetrators included collaborator employees of the occupation administration of Nova Kakhovka, the head of the Department of Education in Nova Kakhovka appointed by Russian forces, an employee of the occupation police, and an occupier-appointed director of one of the Nova Kakhovka Lyceums.
