SUMMARY: On March 25, 2022, Russian forces detained a male civilian at a checkpoint while he was attempting to leave Russian-occupied territory with his family. They found deleted images of a deceased Russian soldier and destroyed vehicles on his phone. He was stripped, beaten, and robbed, and he spent the night in a trench. He was released the next morning.
