SUMMARY: A teenage boy was killed while he, his little sister, and his mother were trying to evacuate Bucha. His mother, the Witness, was driving the car when the occupiers suddenly started shelling the road. The Witness was also injured.

WITNESSES

The Witness of the incident was a female civilian in her 40s and a resident of Blystavytsia who worked as an attorney. She was the mother of the Victim.

VICTIMS

The Victim of the incident was a teenage boy and civilian who had recently graduated college. The Victim was wounded by gunfire and later found dead. His body was slightly charred. The Witness and her daughter were also caught in the gunfire. The Witness was wounded.

The Witness could not see where the shelling came from. The Witness later saw a convoy of military vehicles near where she left her car. There was a letter “V” on one of the vehicles. The Russian soldiers who talked to the Witness about the Victim varied in rank and all wore uniforms.
