Education: Jennifer earned a BS in Biopsychology, Cognition and Neuroscience from U-M in 2023 and is now working toward completion of her Master of Science in Psychology (with an emphasis on Biopsychology) from U-M in 2024
How she ended up here: Jennifer joined the Tronson Lab after listening to Dr. Tronson give a talk on her work that touched on many of her most passionate research interests
Research interests: Jennifer has a particular interest in the neural mechanisms of cognition, learning and memory and how they work together to shape behavior and personality
What she’s studied in the past: In the past, Jennifer studied the effect of training on working memory and plasticity in older adults with mild cognitive decline using fMRI under Dr. Patricia Reuter-Lorenz
What she’s studying now: Is affective or motivational information included in the acquisition of a learned association in Pavlovian fear conditioning?
Involvements outside of the Tronson lab: Jennifer is the owner of a behavioral assessment firm that assists clients with their employee selection, hiring and retention
Hobbies/Fun Facts: Jennifer lovesbicycling, traveling, photography, movies, DFS (daily fantasy sports) and football (Go Raiders!)
