Parking:
- For speakers who are driving to Ann Arbor, the speakers’ hotel has valet parking with unlimited in/out privileges included during your stay.
- Street parking is available near and around the conference venue (and throughout Ann Arbor), but meters are limited to two hours. One can pay via Ann Arbor ePark App on your smart phone or at the kiosk nearby.

For Poster Presenters
Poster requirements and recommendations:
- All posters should be 4′ X 3′ (4 feet wide, 3 feet tall).
- UMMAA will provide easels, mounting boards, and clips/push pins.
- You are encouraged to use accessible – sans serif – fonts (e.g. Arial, Helvetica, and Univers).
Poster printing:
- All presenters will have $20 added to their MPrint account by September 15. The cost of printing a 4′ X 3′ poster is $16.80.
- Presenters initiate printing poster (read about how to do that here) and select the UMMAA account that has been added to their MPrint order menu when they print or pre-order a poster.
- Pick-up poster as arranged.
Poster set-up and take-down:
- Presenters may set-up posters as early as 11am for the 11:30 session start-time in the Rackham Hall East and West conference rooms on the 4th floor.
- Presenters will be pre-assigned an easel and mounting board for their poster.
- All posters must be taken down by 1:15pm.
- Easels and mounting board will be removed by organizers. Please leave them.

Airport transportation:
Detroit Metropolitan International Airport (DTW) is only 20 miles from Ann Arbor, about a 45 minute drive. The costs are comparable and about $50 per one-way trip between Ann Arbor and DTW.

There are two bus-stops for this service in Ann Arbor:- Blake Transit Center (in downtown Ann Arbor) is convenient for those staying near Central Campus: map of the bus stop.

COVID Protocols
These are the current COVID-19 Safety Protocols. Any changes will be updated on this page.
Stay home if you have been exposed to COVID-19 in the last 14 days or are showing COVID-19 symptoms. Anyone who has had close contact with a person who has COVID-19 should also stay home and monitor their health. Invited guests who live with those at higher risk should also consider the potential risk to their loved ones.
