Jakin Zhang

Jakin Zhang, a long-time Ohioan, is a senior at the University of Michigan where she studies economics with a minor in law, justice, and social change. She currently works as a research assistant with the University’s Title IX team where she has spent the past two years examining the impacts of litigation on student sexual misconduct policies at colleges across the United States. Jakin is broadly interested in social advocacy and the roles in which people and interactions play into business, economic, and social dynamics. She also trains as a competitive powerlifter and in her spare time, enjoys other activities such as tennis and reading.
