Uri Martinez-Tavera

Uri earned her Masters’ degree in Higher Education at the University of Michigan in December 2019. She also earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 2015, majoring in Sociology with a minor in Spanish. She worked on the University Responses to Sexual Assault (URSA) Project from January 2019 to December 2019. Her work included retrieving and organizing documents related to sexual misconduct adjudication and supervising undergraduate researchers in the lab. Currently, she is an Academic Advisor at the University of Michigan. As an advisor, she strives to create an inclusive environment where students feel empowered to make thoughtful decisions and take advantage of opportunities and resources that align with their goals and values.
