Individuals with an interest and experience in biochemistry, microscopy techniques, and/or quantitative approaches to answering biological questions are encouraged to apply.


Postdoctoral applicants can email Dr. Vecchiarelli with a cover letter describing your research interests and qualifications, your CV, and contact info for references.

Prospective graduate students can rotate in the lab after admission to The Department of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology (MCDB) or The Program in Biomedical Science (PIBS).

Undergraduate students should get involved in research early in their college career. Interested UM freshmen & sophomores can apply to work in the lab via the UROP program. Juniors and seniors can email Dr. Vecchiarelli directly if interested in working in the lab.
