Our Mission

• To produce scholarship, quality research, and collaborations/partnerships that can inform and promote children’s successful language and literacy development, particularly for African American children and children from other socially and economically exploited groups. 

• To guide, teach, prepare and equip students and postdoctoral fellows to be future leaders who add value to and improve the lives of others.
