Classroom (110/120) Reservations
Rules, Regulations, and Information

General Information
During the soft opening in 2017-18, the first floor classrooms will be set up as one room.

  • The combined space 110/120 has a maximum occupancy of 150. At the present time, the room will be set up in the team based learning classroom arrangement with 84 chairs at tables.
  • Please review the Google Calendars (WeiserHall-110/ WeiserHall-120) to ensure the date and time of the event are available before submitting a request. (See the instructions for viewing these calendars.)
  • Reservations can be made no more than 120 days in advance and should be requested at least 30 days in advance.
  • Reservations are only for Weiser Hall occupants during the soft opening.

Building Hours and Hours for Reservation

  • Available times for reserving are:
    • Monday – Friday from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
    • Monday -Thursday from 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
    • Friday from 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
      *These times are non-negotiable. There will be classes scheduled immediately before and after each block of time. Please include setup and cleanup time when considering if this space is right for your event.
  • For requests outside of the Weiser Hall availability, please email the request to ro.curriculum@umich.edu.
  • Weiser Hall is unlocked Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Anyone with a valid MCard can access the building at any card reader door Monday through Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • All events must be completed by 10:00 p.m. An extra hour for cleanup may be requested but must be complete by 11:00 p.m.
  • If the event does not follow the time slots provided, this could limit the group’s ability to reserve College of LSA space in the future.

Fees

  • Groups affiliated with the College of LSA will not be charged for use of the spaces during the soft opening.
  • If damage or additional cleanup is required as a result of the event, fees could apply and will be the responsibility of the hosting department. It may also limit the ability to reserve College of LSA space in the future.

Furniture, Furnishings, and Equipment

  • The classrooms must be cleaned and returned to its original condition immediately following the event.
  • Groups must make separate arrangements for any additional furniture required for events.
