
Max Czollek (b. 1987) is a contemporary German-Jewish poet, essayist, and curator who is known for his trenchant critiques of German memory culture, Leitkultur, and concepts of integration. His texts often engage questions of contemporary Jewish identity and the impacts of Germany’s history on present-day Germany. He is active in contemporary poetry and theater scenes, especially in Berlin.
