
Sharon Dodua Otoo (b. 1972) is a contemporary author, editor, and activist involved with ADEFRA and the ISD-Bund. Working in both German and English, she has published short stories, novellas, and more recently a novel to critical acclaim in Germany. Her literature embraces narrative styles including allegory, magical realism, and Afrofuturism, and she engages themes relating to intergenerational—in particular mother-daughter—relationships, resistance, and racism.
