Individual Differences Study – WHIRLab

Individual Differences Study

The WHIRLab, together with the Personality, Relationships, and Hormones Lab, is conducting a study on romantic relationships and individual differences. This study involves filling out an initial online survey at home which should take about 30 minutes. Then, you will be asked to schedule a time when you and your partner can come into the lab together for an in-person session that will take no more than one-and-a-half hours. You and your partner can earn $20 each ($40/couple).

You may be eligible to participate in this study if:
1) you have been in a romantic relationship for at least 1 month,
2) you and your partner are both 18 years or older,
3) you and your partner are both fluent in English, and
4) you and your partner are able to attend a 1-1.5 hour meeting on the University of Michigan Ann Arbor campus.

Participating with your partner: We are interested in the experience of both members of a couple and would set up a time that both you and your partner could come to the lab together. The in-lab session would take 1-1.5 hours.

Privacy: Though we ask for your email to coordinate your presence in the lab, any information you provide during the session will not be associated with your identifying details. We will record audiovisual data if your consent is given. De-identified data may be made available online to other researchers. Aggregated results may be posted online.
