Amir Salaree (Postdoc)

Amir is a seismologist who likes to play around with seismic, hydrodynamic, and acoustic problems. He has a keen interest in studying natural hazards and has worked on earthquakes, tsunamis, landslides, and storms. Amir earned his PhD at Northwestern University and worked with Emile Okal. He then worked as a postdoc in Prof Yihe Huang’s group before moving to our group to tackle problems on fiber-optic seismology.
