What did you gain from this internship, personally, academically or professionally?
This internship refined my written blogging skills, improved my social media capabilities, and created personal and professional relationships with others. This taught me to better manage my time and keep track of my work so that it doesn’t build up.
What did you like best about the internship?
I enjoyed the flexibility of this internship because I got to schedule meeting times based on my agenda.
What tasks did you complete during this internship?
I worked mainly on promoting their events, courses, reaching out
to DISC students, and posting on their blog. One of my firsts tasks was drafting the
proposal to create a Facebook page for DISC.
Would you recommend this internship to other students?
I am grateful for all of my experiences as DISC’s first intern.
