On behalf of the Conference Planning Committee, welcome to the 8th Biennial APA Division 45 Research Conference! The American Psychological Association Division 45 has supported research on communities of color since it was established in 1986. Since 1999, Cultural Diversity and Ethnic Minority Psychology has been the official Division 45 journal and has become the flagship journal for research in our field.
The 8th Biennial APA Division 45 Research conference will be held July 23-25, 2025 at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The conference will begin with a professional development preconference on Wednesday (July 23, 2025), followed by outstanding plenary speakers and symposia on Thursday (July 24, 2025) and Friday (July 25, 2025). We welcome proposals from individuals at all career stages, including undergraduate and graduate students, early-career professionals, and mid- and late-career professionals, from psychology and allied fields.
