I am a PhD candidate in Political Science and Public Policy at the University of Michigan. I study civil conflict broadly with specific interests in third-party intervention, peacebuilding, the financing of violent non-state actors, and the relationship between news media and terrorism.  My research has been published in the Journal of Conflict Resolution.

I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Albany in 2013, and previously worked in data collection management at the Project on Violent Conflict and Global Terrorism Database.
