Muslims of the Midwest: A Digital Archive

Muslims of the Midwest: A Digital Archive is a collection of digital resources that document some of the varied experiences of Muslims living in the American Midwest. The archive features recorded interviews reflecting the diversity of the Midwestern Muslim community across generational, gender, geographical, soci0-economic, and ethnic differences. Investigators from the University of Michigan, Indiana University, Michigan State University, University of Illinois at Chicago, and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign conducted the interviews between 2015 and 2019 in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Iowa with funding from the Illinois Humanities Without Walls and Michigan State University’s Muslim Studies Program.
