BS-joint degree Computer Science and Environmental Science from University of Michigan
For Felix’ senior thesis, he worked to build a tool to analyze NEON Full-Waveform LiDAR to estimate forest biomass using machine learning techniques.
At Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Felix modified a deep learning algorithm for downscaling snow albedo data
with GOES, MODIS, and Sentinel-2.
Currently, he is a Master’s student at the University of California Berkeley in the Energy and Resources Group focusing on using remote sensing techniques to advance nature-based climate solutions and renewable electricity infrastructure.
