I am an example Professor of Natural Science represented on this example WordPress website currently using the Astrid theme.  Please feel free to explore this website to get an idea of how the theme looks and feels and the various page templates you can use.  For example, there are “student testimonials” on the teaching tab and various post types under news.  This homepage is set to be “widgetized” and scrolling is encouraged.

To see this them set up in different configurations you can visit the other example sites.  The Ocean Climate Research Group website is also set to the Astrid theme as well as Prof. Helena Thompson’s example website.  Thompson’s site is an example of a pared down, simplified use of ‘Astrid.’  As always, if you have any questions, please email us at LSATechnologyServices!
