We are delighted to announce our first virtual Persian roundtable of this academic year. Please join us on Thursday, October 22, at 5-7 pm for a presentation by Dr. Mahmoodreza Esfandiar. His talk titled “Descriptions and Images of Love in Mawlavi’s work.” ِDr. Esfandiar is an associate professor of Comparative Religions and Mysticism at the Islamic Azad University in Iran. His research interests center on studies in religion and mysticism, Jalal al-Din Rumi, and East Asian studies.
