Poetry Hour / ساعت شعر
For this gathering, students in the second year of the Persian program at U-M will read selections of Persian poetry, including lines by Ferdowsi, Sohrab Sepehri, Malek-ol-sho’ara Bahar, and others, which we will translate and discuss. Guests are welcome to bring their own favorite lines to share as well. As usual, baqlava and tea will be served; students of all levels are welcome and encouraged to attend!
