Congressman John Lewis, Andrew Aydin, and Nate Powell–co-authors of the graphic novel trilogy March–will give a keynote presentation (including a Q&A) from 5:00 pm to 6:30pm at the Michigan Theater on September 21, 2017. March powerfully recounts Lewis’s experiences throughout the Civil Rights Movement and has won many awards, including the National Book Award. Regrettably, the keynote presentation coincides with the Jewish New Year holiday of Rosh Hashanah. The presentation will be live-streamed and recorded; anyone with an Internet connection can watch it live from 5:00-6:30pm on Thursday, September 21, or watch it on a future date. Instructions for accessing the live stream will be posted here in early September. Please fill out this brief form to have your watch party listed below.
