*Important Info for student presenters

  1. Please be aware that we will need to collect everyone’s presentations / slides in a shared Google Drive folder beforehand. You should be ready to provide finalized slides 24-48 hours in advance of your presentation. Please request access to the Google Drive folder as soon as possible: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1WwE4Cp82Dcx2IsSXm8BHciZ6ZRyioenP?usp=sharing.
  2. Slides should be in either PowerPoint slides or Google Slides.
  3. We plan to hold a “dress rehearsal” for all virtual participants in the days leading up to the conference to make sure that everyone knows what to expect and to ensure that transitions go smoothly. You will not be expected to present anything, but please be ready to connect, test your microphone, and attempt to share at least blank presentation slides and a snippet of whatever video or audio you plan to share. While we have not yet finalized the date with our tech support team, we are hoping to schedule this rehearsal for April 29, May 2, or May 3.
  4. For in-person attendees, please be aware that we will not be able to let presenters connect their own machines to present because our main monitor will be linked to the Zoom webinar.
  5. You should have just received an email update about the conference. If you did not receive it, please let us know and we will be sure to forward it to you and add you to the mailing list.
