Elisa completed her PhD at the University of St Andrews focused on social learning and abstract rule formation in different primate species. She is interested in the evolution of primate cognition and behavior. She was previously a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Michigan and is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology.
