Melissa Emery Thompson PhD

Melissa received a BS in Anthropology and Human Biology from Emory University, and a PhD in Human Evolutionary Biology from Harvard University. She is a co-Director of the Kibale Chimpanzee Project, a long-term site studying the behavioral ecology of wild chimpanzees in Uganda. Her research focuses on the evolution of the human life course, integrating work on ecology, health, reproduction, and behavior.
