Two of the 20 books on the 2015 Library of Michigan Notable Books list have RC roots: A Detroit Anthology (an assortment of poems, essays, and photographs about Detroit), edited by RC Creative Writing alum Anna Clark, and Making Callaloo in Detroit (a collection of stories about growing up in Detroit with Caribbean roots) by RC Creative Writing instructor Lolita Hernandez.
