This Detroit cartoonist reads from Thisby Thestoop and the Black Mountain, his debut novel for middle-grade readers. Illustrated by Sam Bosma, it’s the story of Thisby, a gamekeeper for the Black Mountain Dungeon, who gets roped into saving Princess Iphigenia. Publishers Weekly calls the book “a fast-paced, high-stakes adventure” in which “clever Thisby and forceful Iphigenia make a delightfully odd pairing.” Signing.
