Karina Dotson

Research Director: Karina Dotson is a social science researcher at the University of Michigan pursuing a PhD in Sociology. She has specialized training in demography and population studies through the Institute for Social Research Population Studies Center. Her research interests are broadly in the areas of: Crime and Deviance, Punishment Practices in the U.S., Transportation, Social Policy, and Survey Methodology. Karina has experience in qualitative, quantitative, and demographic research methods, and mostly employs multi-methods in her research.
