About Us

We are a Synthetic and Organometallic Research Group at the University of Michigan!

Current methods for synthesizing small biologically active molecules rely upon step-wise single atom manipulations that are often time consuming and costly. Our central aim in the Wolfe lab is to make small molecule synthesis more efficient through the use of palladium catalyzed reactions. The utilization of palladium catalysis allows for the construction of multiple bonds in a single step, delivering biologically significant molecules in a rapid and straightforward manner.
