Setting: Assisted living community for seniors.

Description: A community for independent living and assisted living with memory and
respite care offered. The facility also has a wellness and fitness center, a library, 24-hour
nursing care, and a house dog! University Living provides a variety of events and
activities for residents.

Student’s Role: Students participate in a wide variety of activities, centered around
assisting with patient care. There will be many opportunities for visiting with patients and
assisting nurses and facility staff with events and daily activities.

Transportation: Your own car, an Outreach vehicle (if available), or the AAATA

Prerequisites & Requirements: Training provided by the volunteer office.

Times: This site does not close so the hours are likely to be very flexible and include
evenings and weekends.
