Pamela Raymond is the Stephen S. Easter Collegiate Professor Emerita in the  Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology at the University of Michigan.

Her  research investigates retinal development and regeneration, with a special focus on molecular mechanisms of cell fate specification and patterning, and the properties of retinal stem cells. She uses zebrafish as a model system and developmental genetics and imaging as tools.

Professor Raymond retired on June 1, 2017, and she is no longer taking new students.
