Remembering Professor Maxwell Reade

Math Professor Maxwell Reade died on April 13, at 100 years and 2 days old, after having worked in the math department for 40 years. He was loved by his students and colleagues, as this Alumni Association article attests.

Maxwell and his wife have a student scholarship in their name–the Marjorie and Maxwell Reade Fund for student support is an endowment that provides need based support to LSA undergraduate and graduate students majoring in mathematics.
