Nick Susemiehl presents poster at Undergraduate Astronomy Research Symposium

Nick Susemiehl, a junior Astronomy student working in our group, presented his latest results on M dwarf multiplicity.  Combining results from a variety of multiplicity survey techniques, over a common range in the companion mass ratio distribution, he fitted the surface density distribution of companion frequencies as a function of orbital separation using a log-normal function.  He was then able to extrapolate results finding the multiplicity frequency of M dwarfs for comparison to other stellar host star masses.  Watch for a copy of his poster on his website.  Congrats Nick!
