Learning about extreme planetary systems in extreme places.

Members of FEPS travled to Reykjavik, Iceland this week to participate in Extreme Solar Systems IV.  Michael Meyer gave a talk on the first statistical results from the SPHERE SHINE survey on the ESO VLT to constrain the frequency of gas giants, and FEPS alumni, Alex Howe, presented a poster on his paper with Meyer and Fred Adams, on atmosphereic mass loss from young Earths.  Here is an example of Icelandic street art!
