I am dedicated to working for justice and equity in STEM climate, research group practices, and research itself. I am a former UM LSA Collegiate Fellow, Co-chair for the American Astronomical Society’s Committee for the Status of Minorities in Astronomy, and have participated in a variety of DEI efforts throughout my career. Currently, I spearhead the peer-mentoring group WoCCode (Women of Color Code) to provide counter space and empowerment for minoritized folks to develop scientific computing skills and projects.
