U-M Psychology recently launched its monthly “Exploring the Mind” series of community talks, offering the public an inside look at emerging topics in the field.
On October 15, 2015, the Department of Psychology launched its “Exploring the Mind” series of community talks with Dr. Richard Nisbett, the Theodore M. Newcomb Distinguished University Professor and author of Mindware: Tools for Smart Thinking. The series aims to bring important topics in psychology to the public, offering free monthly discussions at the downtown branch of the Ann Arbor Public Library.
The series continued on November 4, and featured Dr. Thad Polk, Arthur F. Thurnau Professor on how to prevent aging from taking a toll on your brain.
