Raisa Hernández Pacheco PhD

Raisa directs the Quantitative Ecology Lab at CSU Long Beach. She received her doctoral degree from the University of Puerto Rico focusing on coral populations, and then completed postdoctoral research at the Caribbean Primate Research Center and the Max-Planck Odense Center studying the rhesus macaques of Cayo Santiago. She is interested in using population ecology and evolutionary demography to understand why individuals within populations vary.
