Safa received a BS in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience from the University of Michigan in 2020. She worked with the Cognitive Evolution Group as an inaugural member of the NSF-funded Chimpanzee Behavior Internship. She is interested in primate social cognition, behavior, and decision-making skills.
