I joined the Cory lab in 2019 as a PhD student studying carbon cycling in arctic lakes and streams. I’m interested in the roles that sunlight and bacteria play in converting dissolved organic matter into carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas. Before joining the Cory lab, I graduated from Dartmouth College with a B.S. in Chemistry and Earth Sciences. My undergraduate research focused on cryptic iron cycling in biogenic iron oxide deposits in freshwaters.
