LA-ICP-MS lab

         

Our new LA-ICP-MS laboratory is used for trace-element analysis, mapping, and U–Pb petrochronology of rocks and minerals. Instruments:

—Agilent 7900s quadrupole ICP-MS.

—ESI NWR193 excimer laser-ablation system.

We are currently working on optimizing analytical procedures. If you are interested in using this facility or wish to discuss its capabilities, please contact Robert Holder.
