Kiel IV and Delta V Plus – Stable Isotope Facility

Kiel IV and Delta V Plus

Kiel IV and Delta V Plus

The Delta V Plus mass spectrometer and Kiel IV automated preparation device measures stable carbon and oxygen isotopes in carbonates. The primarily use is for corals, speleothems, and bulk lake sediment. Other uses include microfossil, enamel, or apatite analysis. This machine is operated by the PACE lab (PI Cole and Lab Manager Kelsey Dyez).
