Advantage: Community
Incoming students will find something for every interest within the Honors Community: academic lectures and museum tours, study and scheduling sessions (called ‘backpacking’ at U-M), and program-supported trips to popular Ann Arbor and Detroit locations. We offer our “Lunch with Honors” series of speakers, open to all Honors students to attend, as well as a variety of intellectual events (Honors Reads, Honors in the Arts, Honors Ballet, and Honors DEI). Every year, we employ Honors students as Peer Mentors and Ambassadors to represent the program. Honors also provides students the opportunity to live with other Honors students in the Honors Housing community in South Quad. Whether you live on- or off-campus, there are many opportunities and experiences designed for you. For more information on Honors Housing community events, please click on Honors Housing.
