The Audio-Visual Africa project is supported by a grant from the University of Michigan Humanities Collaboratory, an Institute for the Humanities initiative designed to facilitate and fund interdisciplinary research between faculty members at the University of Michigan. Funding has allowed us to develop research questions, brainstorm institutional and international linkages, and solidify our goals for the Audio-Visual Africa project.
We thank the Humanities Collaboratory for providing us with a workspace and supporting our research process. In particular, we are grateful to Professor Peggy McCracken for her interest in learning about our project and answering our questions.
We thank staff members from the University of Michigan Library and Michigan Publishing Services for offering us advice on implementing a future project: Kristen Castellana, Jason Colman, Mary Francis, Kat Hagedorn, Philip Hallman, Loyd Mbabu, Robert McIntyre, Joseph Morse, Charles Watkinson, John Weise.
Professor Franc Nunoo-Quarcoo designed our project logo.
