8/3/18. Nadine Hubbs’s February 2017 keynote address to the International Association for the Study of Popular Music (U.S. branch), “Country Music in Dangerous Times,” was published in Journal of Popular Music Studies.

4/18/18. Angelene Ku received a blue ribbon for her research poster presentation at the 2018 Annual Spring Symposium of the U-M Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program. Her poster brought together an overview of Country Mexicans and her work on the project, her U-M musicology-ethnomusicology coursework, and the recent Disney-Pixar movie Coco. Congratulations, Angelene!
