The University of Michigan is delighted to announce the 11th Formal and Experimental Advances in Sign Language Theory conference (FEAST). FEAST provides a forum to discuss theoretical advances in sign language study and formal approaches to the study of sign language linguistics (particularly within the generative tradition). We also welcome research on experimental approaches to sign language study, and on the acquisition of sign languages.
For its 11th meeting, the conference will be hosted at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI, August 6-8, 2024. Sponsors for the conference include the University of Michigan Linguistics Department and the Sign Language & Multi-Modal Communication Lab (PI: Natasha Abner).
