We are pleased to announce the availability of a several small travel awards of $200 each to offset the cost of attendance for graduate students and early career scholars coming to Ann Arbor for the De-centering the Global Middle Ages symposium.
If you would like to be considered for a travel award, please submit a brief statement (no more than 500 words) describing the nature of your work and how participating in the symposium would benefit your research or teaching. Awards will be disbursed in the form of reimbursement.
Submissions should be sent as PDF email attachments directly to the symposium organizers, Paula R. Curtis (prcurtis@umich.edu) and Amanda Respess (arespess@umich.edu), by the deadline of January 18 for consideration. Applicants will be informed of award decisions by January 25 at the latest.
