Sarah Abou-Zied is a Special Collections Reader Assistant at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London Library. She holds a Masters in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Edinburgh, where she worked on the collation and digitization of metadata as well as cataloguing the Manuscripts of the Islamicate World and South Asia (MIWSA) Collection held in its library. Having previously served as Khamseen’s Translations Coordinator, she now is working on launching its Concepts.
